Family Literacy Experience

Family Literacy Experience (FLITE) is a new program developed by the Nevada State PIRC-Education Alliance! Family Literacy Experience (FLITE) is a FREE, hands-on, bilingual curriculum for family learning nights that focuses on literacy, science and helping parents to understand their child's learning style.

There are four modules developed, each of which is a two hour workshop. At each workshop, there's a listening, seeing and doing "station" and families rotate between stations. Take-home materials are provided to families with ideas of how to support learning at home.
